Twenty or so members of the Society now form an active group on Flickr, the photo-sharing web site, where they regularly upload their photographs for the enjoyment and amusement of others and for comment.

Flickr is free to join, and you can have your own “photostream” for your images. This might be attractive if you do not have a web site of your own. You are allowed to upload 100 MB freely each month, which is probably sufficient for most people. However if you do want to go the whole hog and upload all of your photo files then you will probably have to join Flickr at the “pro” level, and pay a fee.

The St Andrews Photographic Society group on Flickr was Victoria’s inspiration and we are grateful to her for maintaining these particular pages.

If you are interested in seeing what is happening with our Flickr group then the web address for St Andrews Photographic Society on Flickr is:

Why not consider joining us yourself?
