Some of the topics of the workshops are listed below.  These are free and open to all club members, although novice photographers find them particularly useful. Each workshop has just a few "students" and the plan is that they will be offered after the Christmas break.

     IT IS HOPED THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO OFFER THIS WORKSHOP AS A MORE EXTENSIVE COURSE EXTENDING OVER SEVERAL WEEKS. IT HAS BEEN OFFERED BEFORE AS A SINGLE SATURDAY AFTERNOON WORKSHOP.

Getting your photographs correctly exposed.

§         Relationship of aperture, shutter speed and ISO in controlling exposure.

§         Relationship of aperture to depth of field.

§         F8 as an optimum aperture.

§         Relationship of shutter speed to freezing movement.

§         Spot, centre-weighted, and integrated exposure methods.

§         The P, A, S, and M settings on your camera.

§         The “zone” method, high key, and low key photography.
